CA1 post 5/5

Hi guys! Today's main topic is about my experience at lan-gaming centre! :D MOE has recently come up with a new game regarding Singapore Army Force called, Battlespace War 2 (something like that. Well the school has arranged a few groups of students to try out this new strategy game. At first we had to complete the tutorial stages before the people there allow us to play as a group. We had to battle against our seniors and sometimes we won while sometimes we lost. It was quite fun. The graphics were also good, in my opinion. This was only our first training session and some of us were already getting the hand of it. I could play well without any difficulties as im usually quite good at games that require shooting. Or should i say very good. Maybe it's just because i play too much shooting games. My seniors and friends were quite good as well. We had to stick together in some occasions. But the retarded thing was, instead of killing the enemies, we ended up friendly firing each other. So many of my teammates died as i went around killing them. The host of the room was the person who organize our seating positions in the gaming centre. I ended up being killed by him as he had the master control and could somehow 'HACK'. This is only the first lesson though.. we would have more exciting lessons the next few weeks. This is the link to the website, you can go and check it out - www.negc.sg.
Goodbye :D

CA1 post 4/5

Today is a very very very bad day for me. I woke up in the morning with a painful neck.
I realised that it was because my sleeping position was incorrect thus causing my neck to ache badly. But who cares anyway? All i could do was bear with the pain temporary until the pain subsided.Arrived at school feeling extremely drowsy as i went to bed at 12am last night. But i went to play table tennis anyway. It kind of boosted me so i felt more energetic. There was nothing really unusual in school today. However, something special did happened to me on the way home. I was grumbling about the homeworks and my mood was down when i suddenly found a twenty-cents coin on the floor. Of course like every singaporean i kept the money :P My mum manage to get a doraemon zodiac doll for me. I needed her to ask her friend to get it for me because the Mcdonald near my house had already sold all of the dolls and there were none left for me. Well nothing much to chat about today.. my head is empty - no ideas. Tomorrow i will be attending my first training session for the battlespace war 2 game. I wonder if the best group gets to compete with national gamers. If so i will definitely try my others to thrash my opponents and reach the finals :D

CA1 post 3/5

Today is a really special day.. to my 4 year old cousin! Of course if you are smart, after reading the first sentence, you should be able to guess that it's his birthday! Congratulations my cousin, you have finally turned four! As my cousin prepared to cut his cake, everyone could notice that he was very excited! I thought that a ghost had took over his body. o.O (well..) When kids below five years old blow the candles,in my opinion, you should really avoid the sight. Because if you see THEIR saliva coming out of the mouth and tainting the cake.. There's a 70% chance you would NOT want to eat the cake. And that is not good because celebrating someone's birthday means that you must definitely eat the cake. Always remember my advice my friends! My mum got him a transformable toy for his birthday present, well my birthday gift to him is becoming his horse. Technically i was his mount for that very few minutes. I thought i heard my backbone crack. Well the cake was delicious and i enjoyed it. But there was a layer of gooey substance on the surface of the cake. I sort of rubbed it off the tissue because the taste of the gooey surface, which is actually jelly, was awful. In fact i wouldn't want to have another bite of the cake with the 'jelly' on it.
Look thats my cousin! >>>

Unfortunately bad incidents usually happen after a joyful event. It went like this - As i said, I became my cousin's mount and he would NOT get off me. My dad said that it was getting late and we should head back home. It would take about 20 minutes to get home as we live in eunos, and the place of celebration was at my grandmother's house located in jurong. So i plead for help.. from my sister. She tried to carry my cousin but he said he did not want her to carry him. So she used a foolproof method to get him off me. She took away his beloved toy car and next he started crying. My sister felt guilty but her expression did not show any guiltiness like usual ( I got to know of it only because i questioned her). Yeah.. but its not really her fault. She was only trying to aid me before my backbone breaks.

On the way home, I thought about what happened. In my opinion i think that we should prevent bad incidents happening to anyone on his/her birthday. This way, he/she will be lucky all year and also he/she can enjoy their birthday celebration happily.

CA1 post 2/5

Today i went for piano lessons after being dismissed from school. But before that, i had my lunch as normal and played table tennis for 1/2 an hour before heading home. I realised that my table tennis skill had improved bit by bit although the progress was not really visible. But now, i can play better and sometimes, i can even reflect a smack - a powerful smash. While, it seems like practice really helps. After i reached home, i practiced my piano songs for a while before taking bus 60 to the community centre for my lesson. Currently i am learning grade 3 songs and pop-songs even though i have not even went for a exam before. As for theory, I just bought my grade 3 theory but my teacher still wants me to try out the grade 2 theory exam paper. Actually i was quite stunned after going through the paper. I DIDN'T expect the paper to be so difficult. Luckily it was just a homework given by my teacher and not a real exam. My teacher also told me that she would not be teaching me anymore next month as a new teacher will be taking over her. The reason being that it is too troublesome for her to travel all the way to the community centre, as she stays at bukit batok and the community centre is located at eunos. Oh man.. this is the 2nd time they have changed teachers and after the new teacher comes it will be the 3rd time. And the worst thing is that they change teachers everytime after i start to get along with my new teacher. Guess this is fate...
Goodbye till my next post! :D

CA1 Post 1/5

My shooting cca started recently- yesterday. Its good to be back in the range but it feels kind of strange that we use jackets now,as we are Secondary 2.I am trying to adapt and to shoot better but it's no good. My rifle mates are doing much better than me and i am desperate to improve! Maybe i am just no good at using the rifle. What to do? Guess my only option is to put in extra hard work so my skills will be on par with my mates. If not its kind of embarrassing. I might be humiliated by my juniors. Yep so my only option is to put in lots lots lots lots of hard work and probably go for all the training sessions. But i think i will just stick to the original schedule. I don't want to be too tired out, causing myself to lose concentration in class. Actually the way to control the rifle is to pull it close to you and try to merge it as a part of your body. That will make it easier as it's just like stabling on one leg. That is why stability is crucial in shooting. If your stability is not good, you will not be able to control your rifles or pistols well and therefore, you can't get a good shot. Shooting is not about, whether your shots are good or bad, but about body stability. That's what my coach always reminds me. If we get too serious, and forget this important component, then we will surely fail. I think that everyone who reads this blog will understand that shooting is not really as easy you guys think. :D So if you want to join shooting and have questions to ask me, leave them as comments. Till next time!
